One of the reasons I
like love Twitter so much is having the latest and breaking news at your fingertips. It’s the place where you first hear who has died, where war is breaking out, or where and when terrible natural disasters happen, (good news can be found too).
But, as with all un-moderated platforms, there is a high chance that some tweeters get it wrong, or some readers read it wrong. I read today about the fashionista in London, who tweeted about a fashion shoot, for it to be miscontrued by a follower or two as an *actual* shooting in Oxford Street. Ripples of twitter-tattle eminated through the internet, for the poor girl to have to dispel the gossip and insist it was shooting with a camera of a zero-sized model outside topshop.
